Arik Air renews deal with Lufthansa

Arik Air has renewed its partnership deal with Airline Lufthansa, in order to improve safety and maintenance for its fleet of airliners. Speaking on behalf of Lufthansa, Mr Clemans Schretti, Sales and Marketing Director for Lufthansa, stated that Lufthansa was happy with the partnership it had with Arik Air for the previous five years.

Lufthansa Technik and Lufthansa Cityline will provide Technical support to Arik Air in the areas of line maintenance, base maintenance, materials and spare parts. Training will also be provided to Arik Air personnel, and there are plans to establish a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility in Nigeria. Lufthansa has a team of fifty engineers dedicated to Arik Air's aircraft and maintenance.
