Virgin Nigeria was the trading name of a private sector-owned flag carrier in Nigeria, which rebranded to Nigerian Eagle Airlines on the 18th September 2009, following Virgin Atlantic's decision to sell its 49% stake in Virgin Nigeria and withdraw the right to use the Virgin brand name. In June 2010 the name of the carrier was once again changed, this time to be known as Air Nigeria.
Virgin Nigeria was based in Lagos, Nigeria, at Murtala Mohammed International Airport (LOS).
