Red 1 Airways Flights

Red 1 Airways will commence domestic flights during late 2013, and their fleet will be comprised of Airbus A-319s. The airline was founded in 2003 and is a subsidiary of Red 1 Investments ltd, and will be based in Abuja.

12 June 2013 -Red 1 Airways and Fastjet PLC sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), in order to create a low-cost airline, which will be branded as Fastjet Nigeria. Red 1 is responsible for the capital that is required for the joint venture between the two airlines.

Destinations

Red 1 Airways plans to offer flights to Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, and will include additional destinations as the airline expands.
