Maiduguri is the capital city of the Borno State in Nigeria, and it is also the largest city. Known as "Yerwa" by the locals, and with over one million inhabitants, Maiduguri also boats one of the best hospitals in Nigeria, and is home to The College of Medical Sciences, which is amongst the top five medical schools in the country.
